India: 12,881 coronavirus cases in 24 hours

12,881 cases were reported in a single day on Thursday and total number of cases now stands at 3,66,946, according to the website of the health ministry. 334 corona patients died in 24 hours and the death toll stands at 12,237.
Fortunately the recovery rate in India is increasing. In total, 1,94,324 have recovered and the number of active cases stands at 1,60,384 now.
Maharashtra remains the worst-hit state with 1,16,752 cases in total out of which 51,935 cases are active. 5,600 people have died due to the pandemic.
In Delhi, almost 28,000 cases are active with a death toll of 1,900.
