Covid centre for misters, MLAs, MLCs, MPs and senior officials

Kumara Krupa, a deluxe guest house’s entire wing has been converted into Covid Care Centre for MLAs, MLCs, MPs, ministers and senior officials of the state government for clinical management by Karnataka government.
100 rooms will be converted into Covid Care Centre, an order has been issued by the Karnataka Health Department.
“One wing of Kumara Krupa Guest House with 100 rooms of individual occupancy having all facilities is reserved to work as Covid Care Centre for the management of Ministers, MPs, Legislative Assembly and Council, senior officers of the Govt above secretary rank for clinical management”, the order states.
The management of the hotel is to function at 33% capacity in order to make the rooms available in the time of emergency and have a better management.
The hotel is located in one of the Bengaluru’s prime location and is managed by the Karnataka State Tourism Department.
The order was issued on Wednesday by the Karnataka government to announce installation of fever clinics and swab collection centres to contain the infection, in 66 medical colleges or hospitals in Bengaluru.
There will be high requirement of fever clinics and swab collection centres as the illness caused by the coronavirus is Influenza-like Illness (ILI) along with Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI).
The order stated, “The private medical colleges and private hospitals are instructed to work as fever clinics cum swab collection centres”.
