Kejriwal expresses his gratitude for the doctors on Twitter
Wednesday, 1st July 2020
National Doctor’s Day is observed in the country each year on July 1st. That’s the day when doctors of the country are given special recognition for serving the country and the society with their services. Arvind Kejriwal; Delhi CM wished the doctors on this National Doctors Day. He thinks that the ‘heroic stories of service’ of the doctors during the current Coronavirus pandemic would motivate the future generations most remarkably. He told that the doctors who are treating the infected patients are fighting one of the most difficult battles and that their contribution is truly ‘unparalleled’.
A Tweet by Kejriwal reads as follows: "Our doctors are fighting one of the toughest battles of this century. Their heroic stories of service and sacrifice will inspire several generations to come. On this Doctors Day, let's celebrate their unparalleled contribution to our society,"
This is indeed a positive gesture on the part of Kejriwal; the Chief Minister of Delhi. Doctors are indeed one of the frontline staffs fighting against the deadly virus. It is very unfortunate that incidents of atrocities towards doctors have been taking place in various pockets of the country but its high that we understand their role in the society in these critical hours.
