Covid-19 research presents new facts

Scientists worldwide are researching on the novel coronavirus and they say that they have chanced upon evidences that the virus can be an air-borne one too. The novel coronavirus, according to scientists, can survive in the air in the form of smaller particles and can infect us in that way. On the basis of this research, scientists are asking WHO to revise their recommendations as reported by New York Times this Saturday.
Previously WHO had informed us that COVID-19 spreads through droplets that are thrown into the air when an infected person sneezes, coughs or even speaks. The droplets containing the virus may zoom through air after an infected person sneezes or may glide across the room.
The NYI further said that the scientists have sent an open letter to the organization and are also planning to publish the findings in a journal by next week. Nearly 239 scientists across the globe pointed out the evidence that air-borne virus remnants too can infect people.
However, WHO didn’t respond to this request immediately. The evidences provided with regard to the air-borne attribute of the virus, according to the organization, aren’t much convincing.
Dr. Benedetta Allegranzi (technical lead of WHO) said: "Especially in the last couple of months, we have been stating several times that we consider airborne transmission as possible but certainly not supported by solid or even clear evidence,"
