MS Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian cricket team had Birthday this Tuesday. He turned 39 years of age and was flooded with birthday wishes from his current as well as former teammates via Twitter.

Among the players who wished him there were Virendra Sehwag, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Suresh Raina, Kedar Jadhav, VVS Laxman and many more.

 Kedar Jadhav also wrote an emotional letter for Dhoni; his ‘best friend, teammate and captain’. Birthday Greetings streamed in from his fans too. While wishing Dhoni on his 39th Birthday, Virendra Sehwag wrote: "Once in a generation, a player comes and a nation connects with him, think of him as a member of their family, kuch bahut apna sa lagta hai. Happy Birthday to a man who is the world ( Dhoni-ya ) for his many admirers,"

The letter of Kedar Jadhav to MS Dhoni was one of the biggest hits, gathering more than 1,000 re-tweet responses and more than 4,000 likes in just no time.

CSK teammate of MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina uploaded a birthday wish video for Dhoni. He calls Dhoni "one of my favorite human, brother & a leader I could ever ask for".

Hardik Pandya addressed Dhoni as ‘bittu’ and wished Dhoni Birthday and also thanked him for "standing by me in bad times".

Kuldeep Yadav; left-arm spinner tweeted to Dhoni on his birthday: "Happy birthday Mahi Bhai. I hope you have a wonderful and fantastic day. Thank you for being such an amazing human being. God bless you,"
