Sachin Pilot’s office stated on Sunday that he is not going to attend the Congress legislative party meeting that’s going to take place on July 13th. He added that Ashok Gehlot’s government is in minority.

“I will not go the legislative meeting. MLAs are with me”, he stated in a conversation with India Today and Aaj Tak on Sunday. He confirmed that several MLAs are not going to attend the meeting. He could not meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi on Sunday when he visited New Delhi, he added.

Sachin Pilot is backed by more than 30 Congress MLAs in Rajasthan, some sources say, while around 27 MLAs have a connection with BJP according to the reports. Resignations of MLAs supporting Sachin Pilot can be submitted to the Rajasthan Assembly Speaker before the Congress legislative meeting.

CM Ashok Gehlot claims that he has 100 MLAs to back him up.
