The National Centre for Seismology confirms

An earthquake of 4.5 magnitude hit Rajkot, Gujarat on Thursday at 7:40 am, The National Centre for Seismology recorded. Tremors were sensed in Rajkot, Junagarh, Surendranagar and Jamnagar areas.
CM Vijay Rupani has asked Rajkot’s local administration to look into the situation.
On the 5th of July, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 with its epicenter near Kutch’s Bhachu was recorded. There were four minor earthquakes of magnitudes 1.8, 1.6, 1.7 and 2.1 between 1:05 am and 4:32 pm on that day before the bigger one took place.
