Big B denies testing negative for the COVID 19 infection

Bachchan ji clarifies on Twitter

Amitabh Bachchan, as reported, has recovered from the COVID-19 infection but the actor himself has denied the news of testing negative post the treatment he has been receiving.

From an authentic source, it has been known that Mr. Bachchan had not yet tested negative for the Coronavirus infection and the same was confirmed by the veteran actor himself on Twitter.  The actor was hospitalized on the 12th of July after having tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. His son Abhishek Bachchan who too had tested positive was hospitalized along with dad, Amitabh Bachchan on 12th itself. Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter, Aaradhya too had tested positive and were transferred to hospital after spending a couple of days in home quarantine. A decline in their condition prompted a hasty shifting to the hospital for advanced treatment.

Amitabh Bachchan’s wife, Jaya Bachchan had alone tested negative. The Bungalows of the Bachchans were thoroughly sanitized later by BMC. While being in hospital and under treatment for the COVID-19 infection, Big B hasn’t for a single day failed to communicate with his fans. His gratitude messages and usual blogging has allowed him to stay virtually connected to his fans & followers even when he is in hospital!
