B. Ed entrance exam is scheduled for August 9th in the state of Uttar Pradesh but this decision of the UP government met with opposition from Congress political leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra this Tuesday.
She said that in UP, spread of COVID-19 is taking place most rapidly in the various educational institutions and conducting the exam in such a scenario would mean putting the life of 4.5 lakh candidates at stake…therefore, the government does need to rethink about the decision of conducting the exam according to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
In a FB post, the Congress General Secretary stated: "B Ed entrance examination is going to be held on August 9 in UP. The speed of coronavirus spread in the state is increasing rapidly,"
"The UP government is requested that keeping in mind the prevailing circumstances, a rethink should be done over the schedule of the examination," said Priyanka Gandhi.
