Sushant Singh Rajput case: The day Rhea left his place, 8 hard drives were smashed, says Siddharth Pithani

Sushant’s flat mate and friend Siddharth Pithani confessed during CBI inquiry that eight hard drives were destroyed on June 8th, the day Rhea left Sushant’s place. The actor committed suicide on 14th for which Rhea has been accused by Sushant’s family for instigating his suicide.

They had a fight according to India Today and she left after that, having lived at his place during lockdown. Siddharth reported that an IT person visited the house and destroyed the hard drives in the presence of Sushant and Rhea along with Dipesh Sawant, house help and cook Neeraj Singh. He said that he was unaware of the contents of the hard drives.

“I think there’s something very sinister in this entire episode and it appears that there is the involvement of some big people in the case. The first thing that should happen is the suspension of Mumbai Commissioner of Police and DCP of that area”, Vikas singh, Sushant’s father stated.

Siddharth and Neeraj were twice interrogated by CBI. Sandeep Sridhar, his CA and Rajat Mewati, his former accountant have been questioned too. Enforcement Directorate is also looking into the case as Sushant’s father has also added in the FIR that Rhea has misused his money. The case also was linked to drugs and thus the Narcotics Control Bureau started the investigation. “We received a letter from ED on Tuesday evening, stating that during their probe into the financial aspects, they found that drug was supplied to Rhea and Sushant. An NCB team will now conduct an inquiry and people involved will be questioned”, Rakesh Asthana, NCB director said to Hindustan Times.
