Recently, Saif daughter, Sara Ali Khan has posted a picture of herself standing in front of a Ganesh Ji idol with her hands folded in prayer for Lord Ganapati Bappa. As Ganesh Chaturthi festivities are drawing to a close in Mumbai this picture of Sara in her festive garb at once reminds one of the pomp and frenzy that the festival is associated with especially in the B-Town.

 This season the celebrations of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in the B-Town saw a slump as the unwanted Covid-19 pandemic is still wreaking its havoc everywhere. But the celebrities of the B-Town are making sure that the festive spirit stays high enough despite the pandemic…and so, many have shared images of their celebrations on the virtual media.

Sara had posted the photo on her Instagram profile and in the photo, she is seen flaunting a hot pink kurta-churidar set embellished with golden threadwork. Her kurta is bell-sleeved and comes with a flowing pattern only to give her festive attire an unmistakable summery vibe.

 The golden threadwork embellishments on her dress are quite similar to the Gotta-patti work commonly seen in Rajasthani attires. She accessorized her festive look with statement earrings and pink ghungroo attached bangles. She sported minimal makeup marked with a toned-down lipstick and kohl-rimmed eyes. Open casual hairstyle with mid parting made her look beautiful the simple way!
