Sushant Singh Rajput case: Abdul Basit arrested
NCB has found a connection between Abdul Basit and Showik Chakraborty

Two people have been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for drugs related to Sushant’s death case. The CBI is also looking into the case and Rhea Chakraborty’s parents had been interrogated on Tuesday in relation with Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.
Abdul Basit Parihar from Bandra, Mumbai has been arrested on Wednesday, the agency stated. “He had connection with Samuel Miranda. Miranda is accused of procuring drugs on instructions of Showik Chakraborty (the brother of prime accused and Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty)”, ANI quoted NCB.
Rhea appointed Miranda, former housekeeping manager of Rajput in May 2019. Miranda has been accused by Rajput’s family for having misusing Sushant’s money, aiding Rhea and supplying drugs.
Zaid Vilatra has also been arrested for having participated in bud or curated marijuana supply to the creamy layer of the society in Mumbai, NCB stated. PTI stated that “vital leads” have been found regarding Chakraborty’s narcotics case.
Chakraborty’s father was interrogated for the second time on Wednesday by the CBI. Her brother was questioned last week, on Tuesday. The FIR also involves Rhea Chakraborty’s parents.
