The corn paneer samosa makes a tasty teatime snack especially during the monsoon season. This recipe gives your classic samosa a healthy, delectable twist. The crushed sweet corn and paneer fillings used in these maida-made triangular pockets can make your monsoon evenings truly memorable.

 

Ingredients required

  • Boiled sweet corn (1/2 cup)
  • Grated paneer (1/2 cup)
  • Chopped onion (1 onion)
  • Chopped green chilies (2 green chilies)
  • Chopped capsicum (1 capsicum)
  • Chopped coriander leaves (2 tbsp)
  • Grated cheese (1/2 cup)
  • Red chili flakes (2 tbsp)
  • Refined flour or Maida slurry
  • Samosa patti
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil (for frying)

 

Cooking steps

  • In a mixing bowl mix all ingredients
  • Add chili flakes and salt
  • Fill the samosa pockets with the filling
  • Use the slurry to seal the edges
  • Deep fry the samosas in oil until golden brown
  • Serve hot with mitha chutney/mint chutney
