Metros will run with necessary measures

There are going to be special metro services for NEET candidates on 13th of September. 66 services in total will be run between 11 am and 7 pm. Covid related protocols have been announced for staff and computers by Housing and Urban Affairs ministry after a discussion with the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday. The candidates appearing for NEET exam however, will be provided with the special services.
The services will be given from both the ends- Noapara and Kavi Subhash stations in an interval of 15 minutes. Printed Card Tickets (PCT) will be distributed to bona fide candidates along with their guardians. On showing the bona fide admit cards at station gates, the candidates will be allowed inside.
The rules will be administered by the Railway Protection Force along with state police at the metro stations. Containment-zone stations will however, not run. Metros will run between 8 am and 8 pm. The trains will thoroughly be sanitized during non-functional hours. The stoppage time will be increased to 30 seconds to avoid rush and pushing at the gates.
Manoj Joshi, General Manager of Metro Railway along with other Metro officials investigated all the stations before running the trains. A list of Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) has been given to Metro authorities, said officials.
