Great Leader, Loyal Friend: Said Trump for Modi Ji while wishing him for birthday

Trump & many other world leaders wished him on his 70th Birthday

Donald Trump, the U.S President wished PM Narendra Modi ji on his birthday. Modi ji turned 70 years of age on this 17th of September and on that occasion the American president has greeted him and praised him with the words: a "great leader and loyal friend".

"I would like to extend best wishes and a very happy 70th birthday to the Prime Minister of India, @narendramodi. Many happy returns to a GREAT LEADER and loyal friend!" tweeted President Donald Trump on this Thursday afternoon (according to local time). Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India was born on the 17th of September (Year 1950) and yesterday was his 70th Birthday.

While wishing Modi ji, the American President had also shared a photo of himself with Melania Trump, the First Lady and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This photo was taken at the grand "Namaste Trump" event that was organized by the Government of India. The two eminent country leaders posed with their hands clenched and raised as they stood facing a crowd of nearly 125, 000 at the Motera Stadium of Ahmadabad in the month of February. The crowd at gathered to greet the American president on his inaugural visit to India.

During that event, PM Narendra Modi had talked about the creation of a "new history".

Apart from the U.S President Donald Trump many other world leaders such as Angela Merkel (German Chancellor), Boris Johnson (British Prime Minister) and Vladimir Putin (Russian President) too greeted Modi Ji on his birthday and also praised him for his moves to strengthen bonds with the countries they represent.

Merkel and Putin wrote Wish Letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and British PM Boris Johnson and many others too wished him Birthday through Tweets. Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji responded to each of the wishes showered on him on Twitter.

"People from all over India, from all over the world have shared their kind wishes. I am grateful to each and every person who has greeted me. These greetings give me strength to serve and work towards improving the lives of my fellow citizens," said Modi ji through one of his tweets posted late night.

The PM had also urged the people to undertake all the needed precautions to fight and defeat the deadly coronavirus.

"Since many have asked, what is it that I want for my birthday, here is what I seek right now: Keep wearing a mask and wear it properly. Follow social distancing. Remember 'Do Gaj Ki Doori'. Avoid crowded spaces. Improve your immunity. Let us make our planet healthy," Modi ji said.
