Celebrated Nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar who is the nutritionist of Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has suggested that the diet plan you follow should match your culture, your locality, your tradition and also the climate of the place where you reside. In one of the recent IGTVs, Diwekar explains in details on how one could pick the right diet plan for the most perfect weight loss and a host of health benefits too.


Crash diet plans like KETO Diet, Atkins Diet, High Fat-Low Carb Diet, Intermittent fasting plan are all unsustainable in their nature. This implies that you may lose weight very fast with these diet plans but may end up with multiple health issues like acidity, constipation, bloating, body ache, headache, nausea etc. Also, since these crash diets limit the intake of certain major groups of food such as fats, carbs, and proteins they may lead to impoverishment and other issues such as irritability, mood swings and cravings.


Another downside of such weight loss diets, according to Diwekar, is that such diets judge the food or diet in terms of the proteins, the carbs, the calories and the fat contained in them. But, one who wishes to stick to a weight loss diet all through life must eat a food that’s locally cultivated, is available readily in the area where one is residing, is a part of the culture to which one belongs and is in-season. Such diets are sustainable in nature. Though such diets don’t bring massive weight loss overnight, you can definitely experience good weight loss results in the long run.  A consistent improvement in health along with slow but steady and sustainable weight loss may be achieved through a sustainable weight loss diet.
