SSR Sister Shweta Singh demands investigation into the verdict of AIIMS Dr. Sudhir Gupta his PM Report

Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput has called for an investigation into Dr Sudhir Gupta’s alleged ‘U-Turn’. Dr Sudhir Gupta was leading the AIIMS forensic team that was involved in the re-evaluation of the late actor’s post-mortem report. While demanding for the investigation,. Shweta Singh Kirti shared a news channel’s report on how the alleged Dr. Sudhir Gupta who had identified the various lapses in the SSR death probe undertaken by the Mumbai Police in the past has now taken a u-turn and has declared it to be a suicide.

On Saturday Dr. Sudhir Gupta said informing a media that Sushant Singh Rajput died by committing suicide and was never murdered.

“There were no injuries on the body other than of hanging. There were no marks of struggle/scuffle on the body and clothes of the deceased,” Dr Sudhir Gupta informed the ANI.

 “The presence of any seductive material was not detected by Bombay FSL and AIIMS toxicology lab. The complete examination of ligature mark over the neck was consistent with hanging,” added Dr. Sudhir Gupta.

He had further called the AIIMS report delivered by them as ‘conclusive’. The CBI investigators who are looking into the SSR death case haven’t spoken on the AIIMS report yet.

An earlier interview with Dr. Sudhir Gupta released by Republic TV shows how the doctor had earlier doubted the investigations of Mumbai police and Cooper Hospital with regard to Sushant’s death. In an interview in the month of August, we hear Dr. Gupta telling how a “contamination of evidence” has taken place and how the “crime scene has not been kept intact”.

In a WhatsApp chat, Dr. Gupta further said, “The panel of five doctors of Cooper conducted autopsy...only one is junior level forensic doctor...rest 4 are just medical officer. The panel must be of forensic specialist as per norms. Who constituted the medical board? What was justification for the medical board...by the police?”

 Shweta while sharing the report’s screenshot, wrote, “This kind of U-Turn must be explained!! #SushantConspiracyExposed #SushantAIIMSTape.” In a second tweet, Shweta Singh Kirti asked, “Why?”

In response to the shared reports, Vikas Singh, Sushant’s family lawyer tweeted, “Highly perturbed with AIIMS report. Going to request CBI Director to constitute a fresh Forensic team . How could AIIMS team give a conclusive report in the absence of the body,that too on such shoddy post mortem done by Cooper hospital wherein time of death also not mentioned.”

Shweta Singh Kirti further re-tweeted Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, who is a lawyer supporting the ‘justice’ for SSR Campaign. “Not Surprised at what Repuplic showed. Dr Sudhir Gupta had talked to me also & had many suspicions on Mumbai autopsy. Why did he change & did opposite, needs investigation,” read the tweet.

Sushant Singh Rajput was announced dead on June 14th. The case initially was being probed by Mumbai Police but is now with the CBI. KK Singh, the actor’s father had filed an FIR with charges of abetment of suicide against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Parallel probes too are being undertaken by Enforcement Directorate and Narcotics Control Bureau. Rhea is now behind the bars and has been arrested in drug-related matter by NCB on the 9th of September.
