MI and RCB Predictions for OCT 28 Match
Thursday, 29th October 2020
Two of the most consistent teams this IPL 2020 season, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will come face to face in Match 48, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi today.
Defending champions MI continue to exhibit their outstanding performance from 2019 and are occupying the top spot in the 2020 IPL points table. In spite of team captain Rohit Sharma sustaining injuries and sitting out of the last few matches, the team has been coping well.
The Mumbai team comes geared with not only a stellar batting order but also an enviable bowling squad. While on the one hand there is Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah who have picked up 33 wickets between them so far, there is Rahul Chahar and Krunal Pandya on the other hand who have done well to curtail the flow of runs.
RCB is currently holding the third spot on the points table owing to their spectacular net run rate. Here too, while veterans Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers have displayed some majestic shots, youngsters Devdutt Padikkal and Washington Sundar have not fallen behind in showcasing their talents.
If one was to go by the two teams’ last face off, when a nail biting Super Over decided the fate of the match, one can for certain expect another riveting match with some searing knocks today, especially with the playoff berth hanging in the balance.
Both the teams have played 11 matches each so far in the season and have 7 victories apiece. However, both are playing after ignoble defeats against the Royals and Chennai Super Kings respectively.
