Suriya, the Tamil actor, aged 45 years has recently tested Covid positive. He tweeted to let all know about this diagnosis. He further informed that he was getting treated for the infection and is now steadily improving.
“I am undergoing treatment for Covid-19 and am better now. Let us all realize that life hasn’t returned to normalcy yet. We also cannot be filled with fear and let life come to a standstill. We still need to be careful and safe. Lots of love and gratitude to the dedicated doctors and medical staff standing by my side,” said Suriya in a Twitter message.
Rajsekar Pandian, the frequent collaborator of Suriya too took to the Twitter platform to reduce concerns over the health of the actor. He tweeted, “Dear Brothers and Sisters Anna’s fine and nothing to worry @Suriya_offl.”
We had last seen Suriya in Soorarai Pottru, a celebrated biographical drama that was released on the Amazon Prime Video in the month of November 2019. This movie was themed on Air Deccan’s GR Captain Gopinath’s life story.
Also, Suriya has recently completed the shooting for the upcoming original movie of Netflix, Navarasa. This movie project marks the reunion of Suriya with the film director Gautham Menon after several years. The two had worked together in the Tamil movies like Vaaranam Aayiram and Kaakha Kaakha in the past.
