Ranbir Kapooor is absent from the social media (at least, officially) and so, the popular actress Alia Bhatt is trying to compensate for Ranbir’s absence.

On this Monday evening, Alia Bhatt made a declaration on behalf of her boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor- she let it out that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has attached itself to a charitable venture. Items from the personal wardrobe of Ranbir Kapoor have been put on sale to assist children fighting the deadly disease, cancer. "Tada... Ranbir is sharing his wardrobe with you. Proceeds will provide holistic nutrition to children fighting cancer," shared Alia Bhatt through her Instagram stories. Ranbir Kapoor’s noble venture has been accredited by Co-Exist, a celebrated platform that have been founded by actress Alia Bhatt and that "works towards the issues of animal and ecological welfare."

Alia Bhatt is currently holidaying in the scenic Maldives with her gang of girls but she could still scoop out time to make the announcement about Ranbir's latest venture through her Instagram stories.

During the latest True Or False Instagram session, when one of her fans just predicted that she wishes to embark on a solo holiday trip, Alia Bhatt replied: "True but not solo." She also divulged that her fond numeric is 8. For the group of the uninitiated, 8 is the number printed on Ranbir’s football jersey and is also his fond number, in general.

As far as the work front is concerned, the duo of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will appear together on silver screen in their upcoming movie Brahmastra. Ayan Mukerji, a friend of the two has directed the movie. Line-up of movies for which Alia has been signed also includes movies like RRR by SS Rajamouli and Gangubai Kathiawadi by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In the movie RRR, Alia Bhat features with a host of cast consisting of Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Shamshera is the next movie we’ll see Ranbir Kapoor in.
