PM Narendra Modi conveyed his greetings to the women on this International Women’s Day on this Monday and remarked that the country is proud of the many accomplishments they have achieved.
He further said that it was the honor of his government to take efforts towards furthering the drive of women empowerment in this country across varied sectors.
"Saluting our indomitable #NariShakti on International Women's Day! India takes pride in the many accomplishments of the women of our nation. It is our Government's honor to be getting the opportunity to work towards furthering women empowerment across a wide range of sectors," tweeted PM Modi.
The PM has quite often highlighted the various schemes of his government like free of cost cooking gas cylinders, bank account opening, the building of toilets, saying that empowerment of women has always been the key theme of these programmes.
