The social media platforms play an important role in showcasing the life of the many celebs of B-town and are instrumental in helping them maintain a steady interaction with their fans and followers. In fact these platforms can help a celeb grab all the eyeballs and come closer to their admirers and commoners. So, most of the B-town celebs often remain active on social media.  But there are some who prefer to stay away from it or are very recently choosing a different path by shutting them off from the social media and Aamir Khan is one of them.

Aamir has never failed to come up with surprises for his fans. Either through his onscreen looks or through his interesting projects or his posts on the social media he always had something or the other to offer his fans. But, in his very recent tweet he has actually left his fans shocked like anything. He has announced that he has made up his mind to sign out from the social media. This announcement has followed just after the actor thanked his fans for wishing him on his 56th Birthday on the 14th of March. Specifying the post as his last one Mr. ‘Perfectionist’ of Bollywood declared that he has taken the decision of dropping the act of pretending to be active on the social media.

Sharing a lengthy post on both Twitter & Instagram, the celebrated actor of Taare Zameen Par made sure to give assurance to his fans that he would be interacting with them via the official platform of his famed production house titled as the ‘Aamir Khan Productions’. “Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday. My heart is full. In another news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway, I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before. Lots of love, always,” wrote Aamir.

Meanwhile, as far as his work front is concerned, actor Aamir Khan is likely to be seen next in the much talked about movie of Advait Chandan, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in which the actor will be flaunting an interesting turbaned look. The movie, as per information, is the Bollywood industry remake of Forrest Gump, the Hollywood classic. Kareena Kapoor Khan is the other actor in lead role in the movie and this will actually mark Aamir-Kareena’s third acting collaboration post 3 Idiots and the movie Talaash.
