Karan Singh Grover Gets Candid about New Web Series and Wife’s Feedback on his Work

Karan Singh Grover talks openly about his web series ‘Qubool Hai 2.0’

Bollywood and television actor Karan Singh Grover is back with the sequel of his much-loved series Qubool Hai, this time streaming on OTT platform Zee5. The new show titled Qubool Hai 2.0 sees Grover playing the character that audiences were enamored with back in 2012, Asad Ahmed Khan albeit in a new set-up and world.

Grover talks about his work and personal life in an interview.

  • Audience reaction to Qubool Hai 2.0

Grover basks in the love and appreciation he has received for his work. He said the earlier character he had played for the TV series has “stayed” with him and now with the new web series, it has evolved.

Grover plays a shooter for which he has taken extensive training. He talks about the importance of breath control and stance when you aim.

When Asad and Zoya meet and one when he comes out of a car and shoots.

  • Wife Bipasha’s reaction to the show and her advice.

She found the show and Karan “good” and said it was “shot well”. Grover appreciates wife Bipasha’s “no filter” feedback about his work as it gives him a “reality check”. He said he also takes a lot of advice from her.

Grover finds doing different genres simultaneously “tricky” like it was when he played his characters in Boss and Kasautii Zindagi Kay.

He calls himself very “cocky” who likes to make “fun of people” and as a result when he had to give 27 takes for his first shot ever, his director threw expletives at him.

  • About his painting exhibition

The pandemic postponed his last exhibition scheduled in March 2020. It is now expected to open in September on a virtual platform.
