Delhi is the country capital and is home to many historical monuments and gardens. But for food lovers too, Delhi is a paradise. However, most of the eateries of Delhi will not serve you low-priced food. Expecting to find a healthy, tasty meal in Delhi for just Rs 10 or even below that, may appear to many people as a fanciful dream that will never be true. However, a handful of eateries run by a handful of socially awakened, noble people have actually made that dream come true. This kitchen was started in the year 2015 by its founder Mr. Anup Singh whose key goal was to serve homely and healthy food to people who have dearth of money and cannot afford costly meals. Food is available here for a meager amount of Rs 5/-. The platter served includes items like rice, veggies, dal, sweets and a fruit serving. Dadi ki rasoi has also recently launched an AC outlet around the same area.
The founder of this eatery is Muskan, a lady who also owns a NGO with the name ‘Ma Foundation’. The eatery receives maximum customers from the Vikaspuri PVR region, Vikaspuri F Block, Keshavpur Mandi and Janakpuri areas. One can relish a healthy meal here consisting of rajma, kadhi-rice, chole, roti, raita and veggie-based dishes just for Rs 10/-. At the eatery, both breakfast and lunch are served. The foods are served here between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm.

Shri Shyam Rasoi is situated in Delhi’s Nangloi area and stands on the lane that’s most uniquely named as ‘Bhooton Wali Gali’. A vast array of food is served at the rasoi at a dust-cheap price of Rs 1/- only. Between the time span of 11.00 am to 1.00 pm delicious food is served to customers visiting the kitchen on a daily basis. Over 1000 people consume food at the rasoi daily. The meal platter served here includes food items like rice, chapatti, veggie-based curries and a dessert cooked in pure ghee. The rasoi runs primarily on the donations it receives.
This is a community kitchen located in Gurugram. The kitchen stands in Gurugram’s Sadar Bazar area in vicinity to the Jain temple and opposite Govt. Girls School. At the community kitchen a platter of full meal consisting of chapatti, rice, lentil, pickle, vegetable and a dessert and a fruit serving is available for just Rs 5/-. If the customer fails to afford Rs 5 even, they can get the meal absolutely free of cost. Even the elderly and small children get to eat meals at the kitchen free of cost. The food is prepared in the private community kitchen and is super delicious and absolutely hygienic.
