Covid-19 vaccine registration now open for all adults

In India, two COVID vaccines are currently being administered. These include Covaxin, which was produced by Bharat Biotech in Hyderabad, and Covishield, which was developed by Oxford-AstraZeneca and is manufactured by the Serum Institute of India. The Indian drug regulator has also approved Sputnik V, which was produced in Russia and is imported and distributed in India by Dr. Reddy's Laboratories.
How to Register through CoWIN portal.
1. Go to the CoWIN website and click on Register/Sign in as a person.
2. Enter your phone number and press the Get OTP button. After you receive the OTP, enter the digits on the website and click ‘Verify.'
3. On the ‘Register for Vaccination' tab, fill in all of your details, including photo ID evidence, name, gender, and year of birth. If you've completed this, click Register.
4. Once you've registered, you'll be given the option of making an appointment. Next to the name of the person who has registered, click on ‘Schedule.'
5. Enter your pin code and hit the Search button. The added pin code's centres will appear.
6. Click on ‘Confirm' after selecting the date and time.
Note: Users can add up to four members to their account with only one password, and they can easily reschedule appointments.
How to Use the Aarogya Setu Software to Register
1. Go to the home screen of the Aarogya Setu app and select the CoWIN page.
2. Click on "Vaccination Registration" and enter your phone number. After receiving an OTP, you can proceed to check your identity.
3. Fill out all of the information on the ‘Register for Vaccination' tab, including photo ID evidence, name, gender, and year of birth. Select ‘Register' from the drop-down menu.
4. Once you've registered, you'll be given the option of making an appointment. Next to the name of the person who has registered, click on Schedule.
5. Enter your pin code and hit the Search button. The added pin code's centres will appear.
6. Click on ‘Confirm' after selecting the date and time.
Issues with registration have been resolved.
Several users are having difficulties registering for the vaccine through the CoWIN portal. Some users have not obtained their OTPs (One-Time Passwords) in order to complete their registration. Meanwhile, many users who did receive their OTPs were unable to schedule vaccination appointments due to a lack of available slots in their regions.
