Earlier this day the news was that the family of actor Deepika Padukone has tested positive for the coronavirus infection. Apparently, the actor’s sister and mom were diagnosed with the covid infection and have gone for home quarantine. The actor’s father, Prakash Padukone has been admitted to hospital. A close friend of Prakash Padukone, Vimal Kumar informed to all that Prakash Padukone, Deepika’s dad is stable now.

 “Around 10 days back, Prakash, his wife (Ujjala) and second daughter (Anisha), they developed symptoms and got themselves tested and the results came out to be positive,” said Vimal Kumar in a statement.

There’s another new update too. A source has further revealed that even the actor Deepika Padukone has tested covid positive. Towards the beginning of the week, Deepika had resorted to her Instagram handle to spread some awareness on the topic of mental health.

 “As millions of us (me and my family included) strive to stay afloat, let us not forget that our emotional well-being in this current crisis is equally important! Remember, You Are Not Alone. We are in this Together. And most importantly, there is Hope,” wrote the actress.

The media has already approached the actor’s team for a confirmation on this, but haven’t yet heard back anything on this from them. Sources have further revealed that the actor is currently at her residence in Bangalore and staying along with her family.

A month back, Deepika and Ranveer Singh, her actor-husband were photographed at the Airport of Mumbai. The husband-wife duo was all set to fly down to the city of Bengaluru to have a vacation with Deepika’s family out there.

Meanwhile, as far as the work front is concerned we’ll probably be seeing the actor Deepika Padukone next in Kabir Khan’s ‘83’ opposite Ranveer Singh who happens to be her husband.

The other movies in the actor’s pipeline are: the movie ‘Next’ by Shakun Batra where there’ll be co-stars like Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey along with Deepika; the movie ‘Pathan’ by Siddharth Anand where there’ll be co-stars like John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan along with Deepika; in the Hindi remake version of ‘The Intern’ co-starred by Amitabh Bachchan. Also, Deepika is reportedly acting in the movie ‘Fighter’ by Siddharth Anand.
