Jr NTR, famed Telugu actor of the contemporary times has recently tested covid positive. The actor as well as his family members are currently staying in home quarantine and are living their lives in complete adherence to the Covid protocols. Through a tweet Jr NTR informed his fans and followers about his present health status and also urged them not to get tensed regarding his health.

“I’ve tested positive for Covid19. Plz don’t worry,I’m doing absolutely fine. My family & I have isolated ourselves & we’re following all protocols under the supervision of doctors. I request those who’ve come into contact with me over the last few days to pl get tested. Stay safe. (sic),” wrote the Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava actor in a tweet.

Jr NTR happens to be the latest Telugu star to test covid positive. Previously other actors like Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan, Kalyaan Dheu, Nivetha Thomas had also tested positive for the coronavirus infection.

As far as the work front is concerned, Jr NTR is currently involved in SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, a true magnum opus. The full form of the ‘RRR’ project is Ranam Roudram Rudhiram. The movie stands for Jr NTR’s first filmy collaboration with actor Ram Charan and is scheduled to be released on the 13th of October this year. We’ll also get to see the Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt in the movie. The movie will be released in various languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and also Hindi as per plans.

On the 6th of May, the ‘RRR’ movie cast posted a video and captioned it with the following lines: "Wear a mask always Get vaccinated when available. Let's #StandTogether to Stop The Spread of #COVID19 in India”. The video shows the actors like Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and also the director, SS Rajamouli talking about the importance of adhering to the covid protocols and trying to stay safe in the pandemic times. 

After finishing with the RRR, Jr NTR is likely to enter into collaboration with movie director Koratala Siva for another project, specifically a social drama. It will be Jr NTR’s second movie-related collaboration with director Siva after the notable blockbuster movie ‘Janatha Garage’
