Indian captain Virat Kohli, apart from being a top- notch player on the cricket field, is also quite good on the football ground, as he exhibited on Tuesday.

Virat has been often seen playing soccer and has even posted pictures of himself at the game on social media. Once again, he has taken to social media to share a video of his playing football and where he is trying to score a goal. However, he ends up with an “accidental crossbar challenge”.

In the video, Virat is seen taking a shot outside the box. However, the ball hits the crossbar and bounces back, making the skipper puff with irritation. He is seen standing with his hands placed on his head.

Virat also wrote on his post, ‘Accidental crossbar challenge’ and followed it with a laughing emoji.

For those who are not initiated in football terminology, a crossbar challenge is to strike the crossbar as many times as you can. This in fact, is an illusively difficult target to hit and even seasoned footballers have been known to not succeed at it many more times than they did.

Indian football captain Sunil Chhetri also appeared to have been quite impressed with Virat’s prowess on the ground and posed a question to the cricket captain on Twitter, “Saare coaching sessions ka ek hi invoice bheju, ya aasan kishton mein chukaoge, champ? (Should I send one invoice for all the coaching sessions, or you would like to pay in easy instalments, champ?).”

Responding to the fun message, Virat tweeted back, “Kohli wrote "Yeah right skip. Aap Mauj lelo poori (you have all the fun)”, and followed it with a laughing emoji.

In the comments section, ecstatic fans have expressed how impressed they are at Virat’s marvellous skills on the football ground, as one of them wrote, “Ronaldo be like are you kidding me”.

Yet another fan wrote, “King in every field.” There was another one who thought he should join football now, “@virat.kohli bhaya after retirement in cricket, join Indian football team.....,, our country should be top.....in football also…”

Kohli is all set to play in the World Test Championship (WTC) final where India will take on New Zealand. It is scheduled to start on June 18 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
