Deputy chief minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday for shutting out the launch of doorstep ration delivery. He hit back at them saying all that the party is now concerned with is to abuse their chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Instead of doing something to control the ration mafia, Sisodia said, the BJP is interested in misemploying the name of Kejriwal. He also charged them with aiding the theft of ration of 800 million people across India.
The Aam Aadmi Party leader said, “I was hoping that the BJP leaders would understand the matter and would take note of the fact that if pizza can be delivered then why not ration. However, listening to Sambit Patra's press conference, he did not utter a word about this scheme.”
Sisodia added, “He did mention that 80 crore people get ration but skipped highlighting the problems faced by the poor in procuring their ration. He is not interested in stopping the stealing of the poor's fraction of ration but instead, he is more interested in abusing the chief minister.”

The deputy CM continued in his dig at the BJP and said they intend to keep the ration theft going in the country and will “abuse” anyone who raises their voice against it. Earlier that day, Sambit Patra pointed a finger at Kejriwal and said he was staging this drama in the name of politics and called the home-delivery of rations scheme a scam.
In a Twitter post, Sisodia also wrote, “Chief Minister @ArvindKejriwal Ji wants that ration reaches every poor's house. BJP says there is no need to do anything against theft of ration. If home delivery of pizza can be done then why not ration for the poor man?”
“They are not only saving the ration mafia but are also promoting it,” the deputy chief minister added.
Kejriwal, in his claims, stated that the home delivery of ration scheme had been put a halt to by the government. He pleaded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to call off these roadblocks and let the scheme rollout that would benefit 7 million people in the national capital.
