Chiranjeevi Sajra, the famed Kannada actor, was fondly remembered by his friends, family and colleagues on this Monday; i.e. the first death anniversary of the actor. Last year on the 7th of June, the actor expired due to a sudden cardiac arrest. He died young at a private hospital in Bengaluru and his death was indeed tragic he being just 35 years of age at the time of his death.

On the eve of the actor’s death anniversary, Meghana Raj Sarja, the actor’s wife, posted a photo of the two of them. “US ?? MINE #chiranjeevisarja”- these words were used by her in the caption.

Recalling that tragic night, Meghana Raj Sarja wrote, “The one thing that stays with me the most, is how on the night of June 6, 2020, I was fast asleep while Chiranjeevi was still awake. At some point during the night, I opened my eyes, only to see that he was just gazing at me and smiling. I asked him what he was thinking and he said ‘nothing’. The look on his face that night will remain with me forever and I think of it every single day.”

Meghana Raj Sarja further added that she will be taking her son for a visit to the memorial of her husband for the very first time.

Arjun Sarja, a senior actor, remembered his nephew, the deceased actor on this occasion and he too shared quite a few pictures of Chiranjeevi and himself. While posting the pictures he wrote the given lines: “It has been a year, but I will miss you for a lifetime Chiru magane.. I hope that constant happy smile never wipes off wherever you are.”

Darshan posted a photo of himself along with Chiranjeevi Sarja and he wrote, “You will always be remembered Chiru, my friend.”

Meghana Raj Sarja and Chiranjeevi Sarja were expecting their first baby at the time of Chiranjeevi’s death. Later in the month of October 2020, Meghana gave birth to a baby boy at one of Bengaluru’s private hospitals.

Chiranjeevi Sarja actually hailed from an actors’ family and had acted in over 20 films in his 11-years long career.
