Urban parks are green spaces created within various cities. The green space of Maidan in Kolkata is also differently referred to as Brigade Parade Ground. It is a sprawling green meadow stretching to nearly 1000 acres and it includes the famed Eden Gardens, the Kolkata Race Course, and myriad football stadiums. ‘Maidan’ exhibits many beautiful statues overlooking another tourist attraction, Victoria Memorial Hall. Lakhs of city residents, as well as tourists, visit Maidan each year.
Cubbon Park, officially referred to as the Chamarajendra Park is a beautiful green space and garden area of 300 acres in the heart of Bengaluru city. The park was created in the year 1870 and makes a landmark location in the city of Bengaluru and is replete with lush green foliage. Health-conscious people of the city make a beeline to Cubbon Park.

Spread across 80 acres, this park is the largest of urban parks in the city of Delhi. The park was made in the year 1969 and has derived its name from the country’s first PM, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Ji.
Company Garden is also referred to as Chandra Shekhar Azad Bagh and Alfred Park. It makes the most important as well as biggest park in the whole of the city. The park consists of several recreational hubs and heritage places including the Azad memorial.
This is one of the largest parks in the whole of India. It is a very prominent tourist attraction in the city of Jamshedpur. The design and architecture of the Jubilee Park are inspired by Mysore’s famed Vrindavan Gardens.
