In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of people attempting to eat healthy and clean foods. As a result, many of us are cramming anything we can find online under the heading of "Healthy" into our diets. As vital as it is to be healthy, it is equally necessary to remember that we must exercise caution when selecting which of these good products to put into our bodies.
Pooja Makhija, a celebrity nutritionist, recently posted on her Instagram account about the health advantages of makhana, commonly known as foxnut. She enumerated the numerous advantages that makhanas provide to our diets. Fibre, zinc, magnesium, calcium, and iron are all abundant in them. They're gluten-free, fill you up, limit your appetite, and are also good for your hair. From weight loss to skin and hair care, makhana has something for everyone.
The most essential aspect, according to Pooja Makhija, is that makhanas contain Kaempferol, an antioxidant that slows ageing, repairs damaged proteins, and even helps with greying hair.
We now understand why our grandmothers always ate these. In fact, starting with our roots is usually a wise option when trying to eat properly. Makhanas, Jackfruits, Moringas, Curry leaves, and Turmeric are healthy superfoods that can be found locally but can be lost in the glitz of imported components.
Pooja has begun a series of posts titled "Indian superfood battle," in which she discusses these locally cultivated superfoods that have a long list of health advantages and are readily available. She talks on the goodness and neglected benefits of the simple curry leaves in another video under the topic "Indian superfood battle."
