Sale of OnePlus Smart Watch to begin in India

The day is here when the much-awaited special edition model- the Cobalt edition, of the OnePlus smartwatch will be launched in India.

The brand’s first-ever smartwatch was debuted earlier this year at the launch event of the OnePlus 9 series smartphone. The limited-edition version of its smartwatch that was launched alongside the regular model will be priced in India at Rs 19,999.

This special edition OnePlus watch has been launched in India and can be purchased through platforms such as OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App and OnePlus Experience Stores starting July 16 at 12 pm. Pre-bookings will be opened for interested parties between July 7-10 for Rs 1,000

Customers can also avail of an additional discount of Rs 1,000 on the OnePlus Watch if they pay using HDFC Bank Cards and EMI transactions till 15th September 2021. A further 5 percent cashback can also be availed by users paying through select American Express cards.

Features and Specifications

• The special edition OnePlus smartwatch has been given a very unique look with a specially treated sapphire glass watch face.
• It has a Mohs rating of 9 for an added degree of brightness and scratch resistance.
• Crafted from cobalt alloy, the watch case is professed to be twice as hard with more resistance for corrosions than standard stainless steel.

The other features are similar to the standard model of the OnePlus smartwatch.

• The watch comes with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and a 454×454 pixel resolution. 
• It boasts of an STM32 processor that is doubled up with 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. It boots RTOS-based software.
• It compares to other smartwatches and comes with features like sleep tracking, heart rating monitoring, and stress tracking.
• The OnePlus Watch also features a SpO2 sensor that can be used to measure the blood-oxygen level.
• A single charge allows the new OnePlus Watch to run for up to two weeks with its 402 mAh battery.
• It is certified for IP68 water and dust resistance and also has 5ATM water-resistant rating.
• Where connectivity is concerned, the watch offers Bluetooth 5.0 LE support.
