Manali has witnessed a large number of people, and some netizens have even urged tourists not to know, you better stop any such plans now. Although it is still recommended not to travel, unless necessary, you can avoid crowds in the following places that allow you to comply with all COVID protocols.

 

Naggar

If you want to get rid of the crowds and enjoy a little history, Nagar is a good choice with huge hills and the Beas River as the background. Visit Nagar Castle, which showcases the rich combination of European and traditional Himalayan architecture; it was once the residence of Raja Sidh Singh in Kullu. The castle has now been converted into a heritage hotel, so you can even book accommodation there. This place is also home to a folk art museum, you can explore it to learn more about the history of this place.


Fagu

It takes about 45 minutes to drive from Shimla to this peaceful destination. Fagu is located at an altitude of 2500 meters and is mainly surrounded by fog, providing you with an environment that you will not forget soon. Then, the lush green forest of cedar and pine trees will attract you to travel long distances and enjoy the experience of breathing fresh air. Sangla

It is one of the most fascinating valleys and the perfect place to escape the chaos and worldly life of the city. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and dense green forests, this valley has its own unique charm. When you are done walking and exploring the temple, head to the apple orchard and spend some time there, it will be a microphone to enjoy beautiful scenery, adventure, and tranquility.

 

Shoja

This picturesque town has a quiet desert location, the pristine natural beauty is like a fairy tale. By the time you arrive on the scene, you may feel like you just want to relax. If you take a walk and start exploring this town, you will come across several wooden temples. Shoja has a pleasant climate all year round and there are plenty of attractions to keep you busy, such as waterfalls, lakes, and forts.

 

Mashobra

Mashobra is a surprise waiting for you, just 13 kilometers from Shimla. If you have visited all the tourist spots in Himachal Pradesh, Mashobra will offer some changes. This is a completely different place, with cedars everywhere. You can also enjoy various activities during the day when you venture into the jungle, such as zip-lining, stargazing, and camping.
