Manali has witnessed a large number of people, and some netizens have even urged tourists not to know, you better stop any such plans now. Although it is still recommended not to travel, unless necessary, you can avoid crowds in the following places that allow you to comply with all COVID protocols.



If you want to get rid of the crowds and enjoy a little history, Nagar is a good choice with huge hills and the Beas River as the background. Visit Nagar Castle, which showcases the rich combination of European and traditional Himalayan architecture; it was once the residence of Raja Sidh Singh in Kullu. The castle has now been converted into a heritage hotel, so you can even book accommodation there. This place is also home to a folk art museum, you can explore it to learn more about the history of this place.


It takes about 45 minutes to drive from Shimla to this peaceful destination. Fagu is located at an altitude of 2500 meters and is mainly surrounded by fog, providing you with an environment that you will not forget soon. Then, the lush green forest of cedar and pine trees will attract you to travel long distances and enjoy the experience of breathing fresh air. If you are lucky, you can also see snow leopards here.

This is a completely different place, with cedars everywhere. You can also enjoy various activities during the day when you venture into the jungle, such as zip-lining, stargazing, and camping.
