SS Rajamouli released a behind-the-scenes film of his impending magnum opus RRR on Thursday. The montage film, which lasts just over a minute, offers us a sense of the scale and scope of the big-ticket period drama. Rajamouli appears to have pulled no punches in making sure he outdoes the success of his previous film, Baahubali: The Conclusion, with this Jr NTR-Ram Charan film. From directing British actress Olivia Morris, Hollywood actor Ray Stevenson, and Irish actress Alison Doody, to staging spectacular action set pieces, Rajamouli appears to have pulled no punches in making sure he outdoes the success of his previous film, Baahubali: The Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn play pivotal roles in the film.

Due to the additional production delays caused by the disastrous second wave of the coronavirus, it appeared like the filmmakers would struggle to hold to their initial plans. The RRR trailer, on the other hand, confirms that the creators have no plans to move the film's release date from October 13.

RRR is one of the spectacular films projected to kick-start India's movie office sector, which has sustained a significant loss after the Covid-19 epidemic.

“We never considered doing that; we were content to wait for movies. We have a gleam of hope because we know people will return to see the movies. India is a film-loving country. As viewers, we take them very seriously. RRR is one of them,” Jr NTR has previously stated while discussing the prospect of a direct-to-stream release.

RRR's production and post-production are happening at the same time. After the limits on filming were relaxed in July of this year, the filmmakers resumed shooting. Filming is likely to last until the middle of August. During this time, the director will shoot scenes with Alia Bhatt and Ram Charan.

RRR is a fictional storey inspired by the battles of Telugu tribal leaders Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem during the British colonial authority. While Ram Charan will play Sitarama, Jr NTR will portray Komaram in RRR.
