Fahadh Faasil talks about his Telugu debut Pushpa

Fahadh Faasil, the Malayalam superstar is currently engaged in shooting for Pushpa, the Telugu debut of the actor. He will be acting in the role of an antagonist in the movie co-starred by Allu Arjun. Ever since, the movie makers have let the news out, fans have gone crazy with excitement and are eager to learn more. Fahadh Faasil is highly excited regarding the movie and the role he is playing in it. During an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, the actor spoke quite candidly about this new project and his association with actor Allu Arjun and director Sukumar.

When asked about what it was like to shoot alongside Allu Arjun for the movie Pushpa, Fahadh Faasil replied, "I haven't started shooting for the film yet. I'm going to join the team soon...I'm just doing the things I like and again, it is a very exciting team. I have seen his (director Sukumar) earlier films and we were planning a project to plugin since a long, so I'm excited about it."

The movie is expected to be something quite big in the film industry of the South as two superstars of Malayalam cinema and Telugu cinema are to share the big screen space together for the first time.

Meanwhile, actor Fahadh Faasil and Mahesh Narayanan, director of Faasil’s upcoming movie project ‘Malik’ got quite candid on why actually they had finally agreed to release the movie via an OTT medium. Through one of their candid chats, the actor-director duo who have, in the past, worked jointly on the 3 movies, talked openly about their rapport, their future movie projects together, about Malayalam cinema, and much  more.

The other actors in the movie Malik include Dileesh Pothan, Joju George, Salim Kumar, Vinay Forrt and Nimisha Sajayan. The movie is scheduled to launch a premiere on the 15th of July on the platform of Amazon Prime Video
