As the country’s travelers have thoroughly explored the mountains and beaches, the Indian jungle now stands out. Jungle trekking is a relatively new concept, accepted by nature and explorers. If you want to try jungle trekking, these are the best places in India.

Talle Valley, Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh is bordered by the most beautiful rainforests in the country, and the Thar Valley region is the best. In recent years, the valley has become popular as a jungle trekker's paradise. There are many types of flora and fauna, the dense bamboo forests and dense vegetation will make your experience more fascinating. Note that most of the valley's jungle is largely unaffected by modern civilization, making it one of the most adventurous jungle trekking destinations.

Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh

It is one of the most popular national parks in India and is home to approximately 22 species of mammals. Tigers, mouse deer, and sloths can often be seen in this park. One of the most popular features of this park is that it is surrounded by the jungle of Seoni, where Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book is located. Although this place is very popular, over time, jungle trekking has also become a popular activity, especially after the movie "The Book of the Jungle" was released.

Tadoda, Maharashtra

It is the oldest national park in Maharashtra and is famous for its various wildlife including tigers. The jungle trekking trails of Tadoba National Park are dotted with dense vegetation, dominated by bamboo forests. Plan to visit this place during the monsoon, because this is also the best time to hike here when the temperature is more pleasant than in summer.

Agumbe Reserve Forest

The Agumbe region in southern Karnataka is popular for its vibrant wildlife and dense jungle, and became the center of attention after the release of the popular TV series "Malgudi Day". The vast green areas of this destination and the jungles of Agumbe become magical during the monsoon season. However, due to its lush tropical ecosystem, little has been explored so far, making it an ideal location for those looking to go hiking in the jungle. Here, you can start hiking Narasimha Parvatha, which is a relatively easy hiking trail.

Chembra Trek, Kerala

The Chembra Peak hike is located at an altitude of 2,100 meters and is one of the highest peaks in the Western Ghats. It is nestled amongst the picturesque Wayanad Mountains in Kerala and is popular for its pristine natural charm and greenery. The motivation to go out and experience the Chembra trek is that it will take you through deep forests that grow on the slopes of the mountains, through lush and green nature, shrouded in clouds and mist. It takes about four hours to complete the walk; The highlight of this hike is the heart-shaped lake near the top of the mountain, known as the Lake of Love.
