What you should know about the new WhatsApp feature?

WhatsApp has confirmed that any photos or videos you send using the "View Once" feature will not be saved in the recipient's photos or gallery. Once you send a See Once the photo or video, WhatsApp will not be able to display it again.

The Messaging application does not allow you to forward, save, star, or share photos or videos sent or received using the "view once" media function. You can only check whether the recipient has opened the photo or video. If they have opened the reading receipt, please check it once.

This Facebook-owned company also stated that if you do not open the photo or video within 14 days after it is posted, the media will expire from the chat. However, if the message was not read at the time of the backup, you can restore the See once media from the backup. If the photo or video is already open, the media will not be backed up and cannot be restored.
