Sony Launches Two Next Level Smart TVs, Prices Start at Rs 4.9 Lakh

Sony has announced the launch of two new large-screen televisions in its premium segment, in India. One of them is the largest variant in its Bravia XR A80J series and the other is the biggest size available in its X85J TV model. They will be named Bravia XR 77A80J OLED and 85X85J respectively.

The Bravia XR 77A80J OLED is a 77-inch big television while the other, the 85X85J measures 85-inch diagonally.

Sony has a few pre-booking offers in store for customers in India.

Sony 85X85J Google TV is available for purchase on Sony retail stores, including Sony Center and Sony Exclusive, www.ShopatSC.com portal, and major electronic stores in India.

The Bravia XR 77A80J OLED TV will be up for sale on the same platforms from August 25.

While the 85-inch X85J has been priced at Rs 4,99,990, the 77-inch A80J will come with a price tag ofRs 5,49,990. These are introductory offer prices by the company and may not match the actual prices.

Sony is also offering a cashback of Rs 20,000 on both models on bookings done before August 16. The A80J will also come with a two-year warranty upon pre-booking.

• Both televisions come with a promise of superior picture quality, vibrant color, ample entertainment options with Google TV, and a whole range of gaming features.
• The new 77-inch A80J is powered by Sony’s proprietary Cognitive Processor XR that takes the viewing experience a step beyond conventional AI.
• Cognitive Processor XR is a processor that is almost human-like and can cross-analyze all elements of a picture - color, contrast, and detail - at once.
• The 77-inch Bravia XR A80J OLED comes with XR OLED Contrast and XR Triluminous Pro for optimum 3D color depth and texture.
• It also has XR Motion Clarity technology to minimize blur in high-speed scenes.
• XR sound positioning with Acoustic Surface Audio, and XR Surround with 3D surround upscaling, takes care of the sound experience.
• The new Bravia TV also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
• It comes with a dedicated game mode for gamers, HDMI 2.1 compatibility, including 4K 120fps, VRR, and ALLM.
• Other features include ambient optimization, light sensor, and acoustic auto-calibration that detects your position and optimizes sound accordingly.
• The A80J supports Google TV, Google Assistant, Alexa smart devices, Apple AirPlay 2, and HomeKit.
