The WhatsApp instant messaging app launched a great feature during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event. This feature allows users to transfer chat history between iOS and Android. This is a feature, if you switch from iPhone to Android or Android to iPhone then you won't have to rely on third-party apps for chat transfer.
"If you choose to switch mobile OS, WhatsApp will introduce the ability to move your entire WhatsApp chat history safely and seamlessly (including voice memos, photos, and conversations). This feature means that people will be able to move between the platforms of their choice. Switch between them and take your WhatsApp history with you, "the company said in its announcement.

WhatsApp announced at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event that users will be able to transfer their WhatsApp chat history from iPhone to Samsung phones. This feature is available for iOS and Android users, and will soon be used in both directions. All chat records of users are encrypted end-to-end on their devices, which means that the migration of chats, including voice memos, is prone to failure. In this case, WhatsApp has partnered with the world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones and operating systems to make this possible.

It will initially launch on Android and will start rolling out on the latest Samsung Galaxy phones. Users will be able to transfer their WhatsApp history from iOS to Android devices, and then they can do the same on iOS devices.

For many years, this has been one of the most requested features by users, and we are working with device and operating system manufacturers to solve this problem."
