Realme’s slimmest laptop now in India

Realme has launched its first-ever laptop model in India on Wednesday, the Realme Book Slim at the Realme GT launch event. It comes with an interesting design and prices in India along with specs and features as well as sale dates on Flipkart were announced during the event.

Here’s a detailed look at the prices, specs, and features of the Realme laptop that boasts of a 2K display, 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, up to 8GB RAM, and 65W fast charging, among other things.

Price in India

The Realme Book Slim i3 8GB+256GB model comes with a price tag of Rs 46,999. The higher version that is the i5 8GB+512GB is priced at Rs 59,999.

Both the models will be available at special introductory prices of Rs 44,999 and Rs 56,999, respectively.

Sale dates have been announced and customers will be able to book from August 30th at 12 PM on Flipkart, Realme.com, and retail stores.

There are two color options available, Real Grey and Real Blue.

• The Realme Book Slim comes with a metal body design and a 3:2 aspect ratio unlike the traditional 16:10 ratio
• It features a 14-inch IPS screen with a 2K (2160×1440) resolution and 400 nits peak brightness
• The display offers a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and 100 percent sRGB Wide color gamut
• The notebook is powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor
• It comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD storage
• It also features connectivity options like a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and one USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port
• The laptop also supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology
• As per Realme, the laptop can give up to 8.5 hours of battery life on a single charge
• It features a 54W battery and supports 65W Super Fast Charge technology that can charge the battery up to 50 percent in only 30 minutes
• It houses DTS Dual Speakers backed by Harmon/Kardon
• The device is 14.9mm thin, making it one of the slimmest laptops in India
• It weighs just 1.38 kg, which makes it lighter than the MacBook Pro.
• The laptop runs on Windows 10 and can be upgraded to Windows 11 for free
