MalavikaMohanan and Vicky Kaushal celebrate Onam together

Thiruvonam, the peak of Onam festivities, was celebrated this year on Saturday and Malayalis across the world were seen joining in the conviviality. Actress MalavikaMohanan was also spotted celebrating the harvest festival this year with pomp this year with her childhood friend and popular Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal and family.

The two celebrated Onam in Malavika’s residence on Saturday along with Kaushal’s family, with a traditional Onamsadya (feast).

Malavika’s roots go back to the southern state of Kerala and the gorgeous actress never misses the day or the celebrations that go with it.

The diva was seen in the pictures donning an ethnic ensemble and decorating the Pookkalam along with partaking of the grand feast.

Mohanan celebrated the festival in its entirety indulging in every aspect of it. She took to social media to share her joy, where she wrote, “Childhood friends, family, yummy food & lots of laughter Best way to spend Onam! P.S The ‘M’ in the flower arrangement is for ‘Mohanans’ #OnamSadhyaPhotoDump.” She shared some pictures as well from the Onam celebrations.

Malavika was seen wearing a kasavulehenga on the occasion. She wrote on her Instagram page, “Half-saree-ing in this pretty outfit today for Onam! @poornimaindrajith @the.mad.hair.scientist thank you for always being my 4am(in this case 4pm, but you get the emotion) hairstylist bff.”

In one of the images Vicky and Malavika were seen hugging and posing for the camera while another image also features Malavika’s father cinematographer K. U. Mohanan and Vicky Kaushal's father, action director Sham Kaushal along with their families.

Malavika’s fans were treated to some more of the stunning actress’ posts and some Onam special photoshoots a day earlier. She was seen in a printed skirt and blouse and wrote, “Giving the classic white & gold a break this time with another one of my favourite Onam colours!”

Wishing everyone the best on the auspicious occasion, she added, “Happy Onam! I wish you all an amazing sugar-high after all that yummy ‘payasam’ you’re gonna eat today.”

Malavika’s last venture on the work front was in the south film ‘Master’, a Tamil movie also featuring actor Vijay.

Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship. His upcoming films include Mr Lele, SardarUdham Singh, The Great Indian Family and Sam Bahadur.
