New feature by Instagram. Know more…

Instagram is reportedly planning to add the ability to like Stories. Well-known developer Alessandro Paluzzi discovered this feature and shared a short video of it on Twitter. This indicates that the "Like" button will appear on the main Stories page, and the user may see multiple likes. The person posting the story can see "Likes" in a separate interface.
Each Instagram user can reportedly send multiple likes on Instagram Snapshot. As of now, Instagram users can only react to stories, which basically appear in their private messages (DM).

Therefore, those who do not like to see the reaction to Stories in DM will like this feature, because once the function is implemented, you may not receive a reaction to the message. According to a report from WABetaInfo, this feature is currently under development, and not everyone can use it in the latest public beta. I don't know when the social media giant will publicly launch this feature.
In addition, Instagram has just announced new features to help protect people from in-app abuse. The company added the ability to restrict comments and direct message requests during increased attention. When people try to post potentially offensive comments, Instagram is now issuing stronger warnings as well. The app also adds a new hidden word feature.
Users will now see the "Restrict" feature, which will automatically hide comments and direct message requests from people who have not followed you or who have recently followed you. Everyone on Instagram can use this feature. To enable it, just go to your privacy settings. When someone tries to post a comment that may be offensive, Instagram will now also issue a stronger warning.
