Located in the midst of the very dense thickets of sapwood, the waterfall is pretty mesmerizing. The water here falls from a height of about 37 meters. No stairs are there to reach the top of the falls. The falls can be visualized from ground level. The falls are located at a distance of 70kms from Ranchi.
Located in Gumla, the Baghmunda falls is one of the most stunning tourist attractions in the state of Jharkhand. There’s an ancient Lord Jagannath shrine here dating back to some 400 words. Tourists and locals flock here in large numbers.

This happens to be the tallest waterfall in Jharkhand and is located about 45kms from Ranchi city. The water here falls from a height of 98 meters. During the monsoons, the waterfall appears magical. In the winter months, the area around the Hundru falls turns out to be a bustling picnic spot.
This is a mesmerizing waterfall located about 45kms from the city of Ranchi and is to the highway running between Ranchi and Purulia. The other name for this waterfall is Gautamdhara as it’s a common belief here that Swami Gautam Buddha had taken rest at this spot for a while.
Another quite popular waterfall of Ranchi is Dassam Falls. It is located in the vicinity of River Kanchi. The waterfall topples down from about 44 meters of height and is located at about 10kms from National Highway running between Jamshedpur and Ranchi. It’s an important tourist spot in Ranchi.
