Virat Kohli, the captain of Team India, is the highest-ranking Indian on the Hopper Instagram Rich List this year, earning almost Rs 5 crore for each promotional Instagram post.

Kohli has over 125 million Instagram followers and a net worth of USD 60 million.

Kohli was ranked 23rd in 2020 and is now ranked 19th.

The only other Indian celebrity on the Hopper Instagram Rich List is Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Priyanka Chopra was placed 27th in the world. She has over 64 million Instagram followers and receives Rs 3 crore for each commercial post she makes.

Kohli and Priyanka both have interests outside of their occupations that allow them to earn a lot of money. Digit, a fintech start-up funded by Kohli, has increased its valuation to USD 3.5 billion.

Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, owns the Sona restaurant in New York. The Bollywood actress recently uploaded photos from her visit to the eatery on social media. Priyanka has also invested in Bumble, a dating app.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a footballer, tops the Hopper Instagram Rich List with about 296 million followers. He is paid USD 1,604,000 for each position he holds. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, an actor and former professional wrestler, and singer-actress Ariana Grande finished in second and third, respectively.
