Rivaba Jadeja, the wife of Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, and his sister, Naynaba Jadeja, are embroiled in a political feud. Rivaba is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), while Naynaba, the cricketer's sister, is a member of the Congress. Rivaba was recently chastised by Naynaba for allegedly breaking the Covid-19 restrictions while attending a political rally in Gujarat. Rivaba took part in a programme where several people gathered and disobeyed the epidemic instructions, according to the Marathi news website Lokmat. Rivaba was also not properly wearing her mask.
Rivaba was chastised by Naynaba for her irresponsible attitude during the Covid-19 epidemic, and Naynaba said that those present at the occasion were to blame for a possible third wave in Gujarat. Rivaba is reported to have the support of the cricketer, whereas Naynaba is said to have the support of her father and sister.
Rivaba allegedly clashed with a female cop after being stopped, according to Bangalore Mirror, causing the officer's blood pressure to rise. Ravindra Jadeja was also in the car with her, but he was wearing his mask.
Meanwhile, the current state of Covid-19 in Gujarat remains stable. On Friday, the state reported 21 additional cases but no deaths. There are 158 current cases. In Gujarat, the total number of confirmed cases has risen to 8,15,344.
