IPL Points Table
KKR's thumping win propelled them to fifth place on the points table, despite the fact that it was only their third victory in the ongoing IPL 2021.
RCB are still in third place, but their net run-rate suffered as KKR chased down the 93-run target with 10 overs to spare.
CSK leads the points table with 12 points after defeating the defending champions Mumbai Indians on Sunday.
The Delhi Capitals have 12 points from eight games as well, but they trail CSK due to a lower net run rate.
Mumbai Indians are fourth while Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings are sixth and seventh on the list.
SunRisers Hyderabad are languishing at the bottom with just one win out of seven games in IPL 2021.
Race For Orange Cap
A low-scoring match in Abu Dhabi on Monday meant that there was no significant change in the list of top-scorers in this year's IPL.
Shikhar Dhawan continues to lead the Orange Cap race with 380 runs from eight matches, followed by KL Rahul (331) and Faf du Plessis (320).
Race For Purple Cap
Varun Chakravarthy and Andre Russell each took three wickets, tying them for fifth place in the tournament with ten wickets apiece.
Harshal Patel of the RCB currently holds the Purple Cap after taking 17 wickets in eight games.
Avesh Khan of the Delhi Capitals and Chris Morris of the Rajasthan Royals are tied for second place in the IPL 2021 with 14 wickets each.
