Rajasthan Royals pulled off a spectacular two-run comeback against Punjab Kings, but it wasn't enough to propel them into the top half of the Indian Premier League 2021 Points Table. RR picked up two points with the win, bringing their total to four points in eight games.

RR moved up to fifth place in the table, while PBKS fell to seventh place with six points from nine games, tied with Kolkata Knight Riders on points. However, PBKS is currently trading below KKR due to a negative Net Run Rate.

The top four teams are Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Mumbai Indians.

IPL 2021 Orange Cap.(IPL)

Despite losing the match, PBKS openers KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal climbed to second and third place in the Orange Cap List, respectively. Rahul's 49 runs against RR increased his run total to 380, tying him for first place with Shikhar Dhawan. Mayank Agarwal is in third place with 327 runs after scoring 67 runs. Faf du Plessis (320) of Chennai Super Kings and Prithvi Shaw (308) of Delhi Capitals are in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

IPL 2021 Purple Cap.(IPL)

Punjab Kings' Arshdeep Singh climbed the Purple Cap list in the IPL 2021 after picking up five wickets against Rajasthan Royals. With 12 wickets in seven games, the kid is already in fourth place. Chris Morris of RR did not return with a wicket, although he maintained his third-place position with 14 wickets. Harshal Patel of Royal Challengers Bangalore leads the way with 17 wickets.
