According to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh has become the state with the highest number of persons vaccinated with the first dosage.

Mr Chouhan stated that Madhya Pradesh had surpassed all other states in terms of the number of persons immunised with the first dosage.
"Until September 26, a total of 6.11 million doses of COVID-19 vaccination had been provided in Madhya Pradesh. The initial dose has been given to 86 percent of those who are eligible "Added he.
Mr Chouhan slammed the Congress, saying, "In your rule, Diggy (Digvijay Singh), there was no electricity for two hours. They made their way to the farmers' dharna to perform gimmicks. Farmers did not even have access to water for irrigation during Diggi's reign. He failed to complete the irrigation project."
Mr Chouhan took a shot at former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, saying, "He has mastered the art of tweeting. He is unable to interact with the general public or farmers. Only tweeting is his job."
Kamal Nath, he claimed, shut down initiatives like Sambal due to a lack of cash. He claimed that Kamal Nath had issues with labour and worker welfare programmes.
