Malayalam films superstar Mammooty has recently shared a rare snapshot of himself with Bollywood king Amitabh Bachchan from the yesteryears.

The invaluable photograph came from Mammooty’s personal album that he chose to share with fans on Instagram on September 30. The picture seems to have bee clicked during a film event that was attended by both actors. In the vintage picture, Mammooty is seen deep in a serious conversation with Big B. The two superstars have been known to have immense respect for each other and share great rapport.

Amitabh Bachchan has also expressed immense respect for other south Indian superstars. When he was hospitalized with Covid-19, South celebrities like Mahesh Babu, DulquerSalmaan, PawanKalyan, Mohanlal, RakulPreet Singh, Dhanush, Mammootty, Chiranjeevi among others had wished him a speedy recovery.

The South superstar has been hard pressed for time recently as he was busy with his shoot for upcoming film Puzhu with ParvathyThiruvothu. He is expected to complete his work for the film very soon. The movie’s first look poster was also recently released and audiences have been drawn to it like never before.

Sharing the throwback photo with BachchanMammooty also wrote on his social media post, “In conversation with the real Big B.@amitabhbachchan. Photo courtesy: Gopalakrishnan (sic).”

R Gopalakrishnan is yet another popular figure in the film world. A veteran still photographer and documentary filmmaker, Gopalakrishnan has the credit of clicking this candid picture of the two stars in one frame, both of whom, with their collective fanbase have the capability of exploding box-office just by sharing screen space.

Mammooty was recently seen in his 2021 releases One and The Priest. Both the films were seen on the big screen and received rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

Another Malayalam film that the south Indian actor will soon be seen playing a major role in apart from Puzhu is BheeshmaParvam. He along with yet another much loved Malayalam actor Mohanlal had recently received UAE’s Golden Visa.
